When it comes to music, the joy of creating it is that you can come up with a variety of new styles, fusions, blends, and whatever else comes to your creative mind to put together.  And that is the case with the Electro rhythmic, pop duo "Speakers" as they continue to fuse together a blend of hip hop, R&B, pop, and electronic pop to make their music unique, to make it catchy, and to make everyone move to it!  And that is the case with their latest EP, "New Frequency" that was released this May 8th, 2012!

You can find the entire EP streaming at http://listn.to/speakers now!!   It's actually pretty intense and does immediately give off a strong hip hop feel of the old school but fuses the other elements really well in it, especially the dance feel and the electronic pop sounds.  If you love a good dance track, you won't be disappointed with their music!

This EP is a four track release that just came out, so it's fresh off the gate!  It was released by Virgin Records in conjunction with independent label Newco, where the duo were first discovered by Troy Carter and Matt Michelsen.  Both Keon B, the singer/rapper/lyricist, and Blair Taylor, the producer/musician behind the beats, fuse an assortment of genres together to make some powerful and catchy dance type hip hop music, and bring out intense party jams that deliver hard, like the track "Bass", and the funk'dafied instant classic, "And Her Too", which when I heard it, immediately gave me that strong catchy dance feel to it, but still had a strong mix of hip hop which I enjoyed.  Definitely worth a listen so be sure again to check out http://listn.to/speakers now!!

New Frequency also features guest appearances from Travie McCoy of Gym Class Heroes (on "Runnin’ It,” an old-school-spirited anthem backed by a futuristic groove) and songstress NiRé All’Dai (on "Right Right,” a super-slick, club-ready banger). She brings a flavaful sound with her catchy rhythmic voice to the table, so be sure to check out that "Right Right" track!  The duo will actually performed the track "Right Right" on NBC's Last Call with Carson Daly with label mate NiRe AllDai.
